The paper introduces the chip ADSP-21990's structure and function,the digital welding power source system's structure and and control system.It designs the control program base on Pulse MIG welding characteristics and realizes a digital welding power source based on ADSP-21990.The analysis of experimentations shows that the digital welding power source obtains better dynamic characteris tics and gains better control effection,which provides a good foundations for in telligent control.
