[答:Eamon] In order to minimize the EMI output from the device the ALE output can be turned off in software. Also by running the core at a lower frequency EMI emissions can be reduced, this is programmable via the PLLCON SFR.

For ESD all our parts are specified for a minimum of 1.5kV immunity, in hardware protection zener diodes can be placed on inputs to prevent ESD damage from voltages above this.

[答:Eamon] For the SAR microconverter parts the AVdd must be kept within 0.3V of the DVdd, thus you cannot turn off the AVdd when the core is still active. What you can do is powerdown the analog circuitry such as the ADC, DAC and reference, this will minimize the AVdd current.  [2004-1-15 10:38:15]

For the second question,RTDs are very accurate. The accuracy of the PT100 is 0.1ohm. The specified maximum tolerance of the RTD is
±(0.5+0.005T) where T is the temperature in °C. This yields a worst case accuracy of <1°C. Typically the temperature
measurment is accurate to 0.5°C.

[答:Mariah] INL = Integral Non-Linearity (Relative Accuracy): . Good INL is required for Open Loop systems and many Closed Loop systems.
DNL = Differential Non-Linearity: a DAC with a DNL > -1LSB is Monotonic – the output always increases as the code increases, which is very important for Closed Loop systems.
The INL and DNL is not the same concept as the resolution of ADC. You can dial 800-810-1742 to get for help from china application center.

We"ve different products with 8K, 32K, 62K program flash.

[答:LiaoWS] You can connect sensors to MicroConverter directly if the voltage won"t be too high. There is no ristriction to the sensor impedance, because we have the built-in buffer in chip, eg ADuC824. For weak signals, you have to let us know it in the voltage, eg mV/uV/nV? Our MicroConverter can have the input voltage range of 10mV. For the noise, this is a system consideration, if the SNR is good enough for your system, just use it. [答:Wayne] If you only use assembly, no special emulator is needed. With the develop tools (you can check 8008101742 for it), you can do programing through UART with RS232 interface. [答:Eamon] I am presuming you are referring to the SAR ADC based parts.
The ADCs dynamic range will depend on the Vref, if using the internal 2.5V reference it is 0V to 2.5V, an external reference up to 5V can be used giving a dynamic range of 0 to 5V

There are no missing codes on the MicroConverter parts.

The INL and DNL specifications are +/- 1 LSB MAX for INL and +/- 0.9 LSB MAX for DNL.

2.adopt our ARM core microconverter such as ADuC7026 ,it has 16 ADC channel

[答:LiaoWS] The diffrence between the S-D based MicroConverter and SAR based ADC is the same as the difference between S-D ADC and SAR ADC. Normally, S-D ADC has higher resolution, but lower conversion rate, and will have processing delay. SAR ADC will be faster and no conversion delay. For other differences between these two kinds of MicroConverters, the DAC resolution and some other features, eg excitation current. Refer to their datasheets, please.  [2004-1-15 11:17:25]

If you run an ADuC812 without an external POR you may have erased the calibration accounting for the ADC errors. You will have to replace this chip and put the correct Reset circuitry in place. [答:William] Depending on how accurate you need for the low-end (10mV), you can first attenuate the signal down to a lower level so that it can be directly input to an IC.  You can either use an digitally controllable amplifier or a mux to select the range.  For example, our ADG4xx family can tolerate up to 15V.  Then you can easily attenuate/amplify the signal to a certain range and then use a DGA.  Please contact our local sales office for details.  [2004-1-15 12:00:46]

[答:] AD7730 is 24bit ADC.Pls carefully design its front end and PCB layout. You need to move the noise out. On the long cable application, we suggest you ad the amplifier as the buffer there. For AD7730 issue or ∑Δ ADC questions pls contact china support .
